STRENGTHENING "JEDI": AT THE HEART OF
PFC CONFERENCE PROGRAM
More foundations are realizing the need to improve their work to better support
justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI). At this year's conference, you'll hear plenty about this topic, including from members of PFC's first JEDI Accelerator Program cohort, originating from member foundations large and small who will explore actionable strategies they've set in motion.

PFC Members are invited to apply for this development opportunity which aims to grow the impact investor community, guide early-stage and impact-curious investors, all while empowering and funding women.

As part of a partnership with Imagine Canada and several colleague organizations, we are working on The Equity Benchmarking Project national survey on equity, diversity and inclusion practices in Canada’s nonprofit sector. Why? To increase awareness of the different facets of equity, better understand where practice-based experts want the sector to go, and to help determine courses of action we can take to evolve towards greater equity – internally and across Canadian communities.
All charities and nonprofits are invited to participate. Results will be available for free later this year and can be used to help you set goals, and measure and track your progress.

Every two years, the Metcalf Foundation team thinks about how to characterize their work and accomplishments. Needless to say, these last two years have been extraordinary, for Metcalf and the rest of us. In fact, this time of extreme disruption — the confluence of a global pandemic, the climate and biodiversity crises, the erosion of trust and respect for institutions, and urgent calls for a fundamental reordering of our society — has led Metcalf to ask, what matters now?

COLE FOUNDATION'S INTERCULTURAL CONVERSATIONS COMPETITION

This program aims to encourage theater artists to present existing works or create new ones on the theme of ethnic and cultural diversity. These works must serve to inform and stimulate the public, as well as to establish a dialogue in order to increase understanding between communities and to abolish the boundaries between cultures in Montreal.
