Volunteer for DEA Drug Take Back Day!

Looking for a volunteering opportunity? DEA Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 26th 10am-2pm. Join Operation OTC to promote safe medication disposal to the community by signing up through the link. Collection sites will be on both UCity and HH campuses, and you may stay for as long (or as short) as you want. This opportunity is open to all students. 📢 Calling all Pharmacy Students (U1s and U2s included)!

We are thrilled to announce that DREAM Expo 2025, hosted by Health Educated, Inc. In partnership with Philly Student Doctors (PSD) and the Saint Joseph’s University SNPhA Chapter is returning—bigger and better than ever! Join us in making a difference at the DREAM Expo, an incredible opportunity to inspire middle school students to explore careers in healthcare by volunteering! This event focuses on underrepresented minorities, helping bridge the representation gap in the medical field.

Penn Medicine Doylestown Hospital has 3 open student pharmacist (technician) positions! This is yet another great opportunity for student pharmacists to gain hands-on experience in health systems pharmacy. A student position is considered a casual position with an every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) commitment, along with 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday. Free ACLS Certification and IPE Opportunities - Join PHP547 Critical Care Therapeutics Today!

Incoming P3 students, we are currently enrolling students in PHP547 Critical Care Therapeutics for Fall 2024. This 2-hour elective course, open to all P3 students, will introduce you to management of critically ill patients. As special opportunities, students enrolled in PHP547 will complete free American Heart Association ACLS certification (~$300 value, funded by a PCP faculty grant) and interprofessional critical care emergency simulations. The certification and simulations are interprofessional and hosted with medical and nursing students from the University of Pennsylvania. This course will be especially useful for students interested in further differentiating themselves for their pursuit of residency training with an advanced certification. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Look forward to saving lives with you! APhA - Lunch and Learn with CVS

APhA is having a Lunch and Learn event with CVS on April 10th from 1:30-2:30 pm in room 337 in STC. This is a great opportunity to learn about the different opportunities CVS offers for its students such as residency, fellowships and post graduation positions.
