Donate your old tech to someone in needYou can now drop off your preloved computers and mobile phones at the Lane Cove Council Civic Centre to support the Reconnect Project – an award-winning social enterprise that repairs and refurbishes devices for people in need. Your donated device will be securely erased, repaired, and given a second life – helping someone connect with friends,
family, education, and essential services, while also keeping valuable materials out of landfill. Give your old tech a new purpose and bring it to the Council ‘Recycling Hub’.

Be fire safe this WinterWinter heating should bring comfort, not risk. Before plugging in your electric blanket, check for frayed cords, scorch marks or damage. If it's showing signs of wear, don't use it. Electrical faults are a leading cause of winter house fires. For more tips go to www.fire.nsw.gov.au/befiresafe
