Winter Career & Networking Fair

The 2025 Winter Career & Networking Fair on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. is a great opportunity to connect with hiring employers from a range of industries. Visit the fair and get a head start on your career this winter by networking with over 45 employers.

Black History Month

February is Black History Month, an opportunity for our community to learn and celebrate the cultural diversity and achievements of Black Canadians from the past, present and future. Visit the Black History Month webpage throughout the month for events, stories and more as Carleton highlights Black leadership, achievements and experiences.

Capital Hoops 2025

A limited number of student tickets are still available for the 2025 Capital Hoops Classic! The biggest university basketball game in Canadian university sports takes over the Arena at TD Place on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Stay safe and have fun at these epic Rivalry Series games by following these tips to help reduce harm, be a good neighbour and create a culture of consent. Go Ravens!

 

Carleton’s Free Tax Clinic is Open

Worried about filing your 2024 taxes? Don’t be! The Sprott Tax Students' Association is here to help with their annual tax clinic.

Fill out the tax clinic's client intake form and the team will review to determine if your tax return is within the scope of the clinic. You will be emailed a link to book an appointment between Monday, March 24 to Friday, March 29, 2025.

It’s time for the Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA) general election. Vote by online ballot in your cMail from Tuesday, February 4 to Thursday, February 6, 2025.

How to… PASS Your Class

Join the Centre for Student Academic Support and a Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) study buddy to work on exam study tactics and review course material in a supportive, friendly environment. All subject matters are welcome. Remember to bring your study materials!

 

Sexual Violence Policy Review Feedback Session

As we continue the review process for Carleton’s Sexual Violence Policy, and after carefully reviewing the feedback provided, we have published a draft version of the revised policy with tracked changes. Students are encouraged to review the revised draft of the policy and provide additional feedback and comments by attending an information and feedback session on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Feedback can also be submitted through the consultation website or by email at svpolicy@carleton.ca.

Planning to Complete Course Work at Another University?

Interested in studying at another university during the summer? Carleton students may be eligible to gain credit for courses taken at another recognized university through a Letter of Permission (LOP).

The deadline for applications to study through a LOP during the summer term is four weeks before the start of classes at the host institution.
