A new Eco-Block School, an exciting partnership and a new home coming soon!

We have been continuing our work to educate children and help to clean up the environment. Here are some updates about Eco-Blocks and our exciting new partnership in Indonesia.
Introducing the 2nd Eco-Block School
The second Eco-Block school is a three-classroom structure. It took just three days to assemble the walls using Eco-Blocks. The team then completed the roof and began on the interiors, like tiling and electricity. Children will be using the classroom very soon!
A Concept Home Built with Eco-Blocks
When the 2018 earthquakes hit Lombok, schools were not the only buildings that got destroyed. People also lost their homes. Using Eco-Block technology, we're building a concept home to showcase to the government of Indonesia as a potential solution to rebuilding homes across Lombok. The family living here will be the first to live in an Eco-Block home in Indonesia.

Our New Implementing Partner
We are excited to announce our new implementing partner, Yayasan Classroom of Hope Indonesia (COHI). COHI will be implementing our Eco-Block Schools program in Lombok, selecting school locations and overseeing the building of these schools to ensure the best possible standards. We will share more with you about this new partnership over the coming months.
