State Highway 1 - Kawakawa to Cape Reinga

State Highway 1 – Mangamuka Gorge

All recovery and final cleanup work is now complete.

State Highway 1 – Kawakawa

Sunday 25 May to Thursday 29 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
Due to drainage maintenance in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Whangārei to Kawakawa

State Highway 1 – North of Callaghans Road, Maromaku

Wednesday 28 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
Due to road repairs in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Akerama

Sealing of the northbound lanes is now complete. The southbound lanes rebuild is rescheduled for next season due to delays caused by wet weather.

Monday 26 May to Thursday 29 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
Due to drainage maintenance in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Kaiwaka

Sunday 25 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
Due to drainage maintenance in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Topuni

Monday 26 May to Tuesday 27 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
Due to road repairs in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 10

State Highway 10 – Kaeo

Monday 26 May to Wednesday 28 May, during the day, 7am – 6pm.
Due to road repairs in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 11

State Highway 11 – Paihia

Due to seawall extension and footpath repairs, a road closure between Bayview Road and Williams Road is in place during weekdays (Monday to Friday, 7am – 6pm approximately). The work is expected to be completed by Friday 6 June 2025.
Northbound detour: Via Williams Road, Selwyn Road and Bayview Road
Southbound detour: Via Bayview Road, Selwyn Road, Williams Road, Joyce Road, School Road
During weekends and evenings, one lane is open to southbound traffic with a reduced speed of 30km/h at all times.

State Highway 12 – North of Babylon Coast Road, Parore

Monday 26 May to Wednesday 28 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
Due to road repairs in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.
