Professional Opportunities3-CREDIT ELECTIVE/INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Pharmacy History & Museum PracticeOffered fall 2024, the PHILADELPHIA-AREA INTERNSHIP COURSE allows pharmacy students to spend 10 hours a week working with the team at the Marvin Samson Museum for the History of Pharmacy, located on the UC campus. As a student intern, you will have to opportunity to research and care for historical pharmacy and college artifacts, create collection photography, and curate installation and interactive displays. Students will deepen interdisciplinary skills including: critical thinking; creative problem-solving; and information synthesis, presentation and communication. Preferably incoming P1s( who are current U students) or current P1( who in the FALL will be P2s). This is a whole year internship whereby students work every 3rd weekend during school year, 3 shifts a week for 5 weeks ( this can be nonconsecutive weeks) during the summer and 2-3 shifts a week during the winter.
