We know that strengthening your skills and knowledge will help you improve the quality and safety of the NDIS supports and services you provide, and our updated newsletter aims to support ongoing learning to help ensure a contemporary approach.

Activities

  • Tracy has met with providers in Cairns (QLD) and Bunbury (WA), and Launceston (Tasmania). Keep an eye out for details on Facebook and LinkedIn for upcoming events in your State/Territory.
     
  • We suspended three Sydney providers and banned three individuals, in co-operation with the Fraud Fusion Taskforce. Read the media statement. Part 2 of the NDIS Provider Register provides a full list of the compliance and enforcement actions we've undertaken.

  • The NDIS Commissioner will issue requests for information to SDA providers, using powers under section 73F(2)(i) of the NDIS Act, as part of a compliance action.

  • The Department of Health has issued its next COVID-19 vaccination – Disability provider alert (dated 28 February 2023).
