Money advice We know that January can be a difficult time with managing your finances. If you are struggling to manage your money or would like advice about which welfare benefits you could be entitled to then you could benefit from the advice of our Money Matters team.
New year, new home? Did you know that Great Places is a partner of choice for an organisation called House Exchange who can help you find a mutual exchange match? House Exchange is a free service for customers that brings people together who are interested in swapping their homes.
Swapping your home consultation With lots of people waiting for homes, the quickest way to move to a home that is right for you could be to swap (or exchange) your home with someone else. Get involved in our consultation to be in with a chance of winning a £50 Love2shop e-gift card. Simply tell us what support you would want from us if you thought that swapping your home might work for you.
Building Healthy Communities Back in September, we opened the call to bids for our next round of our Greater Together Resilience Fund. In total, 84 organisations applied for our funding and of these, 20 were successful.
Reviewing our Repairs Service Earlier this month we asked customers to tell us what is most important to them about the service. Thank you to all 524 customers who took the time to share their views. We are currently reviewing all of your feedback, and we’ll let you know over the coming months what we are planning to do with what you told us.
£5,000 funding for Accrington charity We've provided £5,000 funding to an Accrington charity to help its customers access counselling services. Maundy Relief, based on Abbey Street, offers a range of services and the funding will be used to help support 25 Great Places’ customers access counselling therapies.
Inspiring young minds At Great Places, we believe in the power of inspiration and community. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming back the enthusiastic pupils from Manor Park Primary School for an exciting careers visit to our head office.
