State Highway 2 Remutaka Hill road

Remutaka Hill Road CLOSED

• Sunday to Thursday night, 9pm – 4am 
• Full road closure for resurfacing and general maintenance 
• Book an escorted crossing here

State Highway 2 Wairarapa

Carterton, between Brooklyn Road and Moreton Road 

• Monday to Friday during the day, 7am – 5:30pm 
• Thursday during the day, 7pm – 5am 
• Altered lane layout for Watermain upgrade 

Featherston, Fitzherbert Street, between Boundary Road and Waite Street 

• Monday to Friday during the day, 8am – 4:30pm 
• Altered lane layouts in place for new watermain installation

Featherston, West of Wakefield Street

• Friday during the day, 8am – 4:30pm 
• Altered lane layouts in place for new watermain installation

State Highway 53 Wairarapa

Martinborough, Bidwell's Cutting Intersection 

• Monday and Tuesday during the day, 8am – 5pm 
• Thursday during the day, 8:30am – 4pm 
• Stop/Go traffic controls in place for chipsealing on local road (Boundary Road) and drainage work
