CLUBMAP Wrap - Issue 35 No images? Click here It’s been another exciting month at CLUBMAP, and we’re thrilled to share the latest highlights from the world of community sport and club development. We're excited to announce our new partnership with Elite Sports Philanthropy. Over the last couple of months, we've been working closely with the ESP team, collaborating on a new video series focused on philanthropic funding in community sport. We’ve seen some fantastic momentum with our ongoing partnerships as well. Our collaboration with Bowls Australia has been a standout; the engagement from clubs has been incredible, with strong webinar registrations and plenty of new users jumping onto the CLUBMAP Hub to access resources and tools. We’re over the moon to see this level of impact across the bowls community. Our blog on Cora Lynn Football Netball Club went live this month, showcasing how a small community club is building resilience and sustainability through smart planning. It’s stories like these that remind us why we do what we do. Check it out below if you haven’t yet. We were also excited to join the Yarra Ranges Council Summer Sport Forum this week. It was great to connect with local leaders and volunteers. A big thanks to Yarra Ranges for having us! On top of this, our free webinar series The Formula for a Successful Club continues to grow. From smarter fundraising to creating strong club culture and leveraging technology, the feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. Please feel free to pass this onto your community colleagues or volunteers. As always, our one-on-one workshops remain at the heart of what we do, working side-by-side with volunteers, one plan at a time. Elite Sports Philanthropy X CLUBMAP We were excited to see our collaboration with Elite Sports Philanthropy come to life this month, with the completion and launch of our new philanthropy video series (New content will be live on the hub soon!) These videos are designed to support clubs in better understanding and leveraging philanthropic opportunities, an area of sport that remains underutilised but holds enormous potential. We’re proud to have worked alongside the ESP team to create resources that will help clubs strengthen their community impact for years to come. Connect with Terry on LinkedIn for more Council and Governing Bodies content, updates and info! The #1 online learning platform available to clubs and NFPs. Grassroots clubs are the foundations of elite sport, and they bring vitality and connection to local life. But they can be demanding for the people who run them, who often turn to councils and governing bodies when they need help. Now, the help they need is available on any platform or phone.
Finding the right funding can be a game-changer for community sporting clubs, helping to support everything from new programs and equipment to facility upgrades. Staying informed about these opportunities is key to making the most of what's available, so consider which grants might be a good fit for your club's needs. June and July are generally quieter months for available grants; however, we've highlighted upcoming grants available to clubs across Australia below.
If CLUBMAP education and support could help your club go to the next level, but the club doesn’t have the necessary funds available, let us know. In many cases, we can help clubs find the funds. Our grants team are working with clubs around the country to support their grant applications. Our experienced team members know where to look for grants, who qualifies for what and how to put together a successful application – all at no cost to your club! If your club could benefit from proven support to increase revenue, recruit more volunteers and boost off-field operations across the board, contact the grants team - button is below. In this blog post, we share some thoughts and tips on instantly helping your community club. We need more people doing less, not the opposite. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic! Sometimes clubs know something's not quite right, but they don’t know what it is, which makes it very difficult to fix. Maybe you and a few other good people are doing too much of the work, volunteers are burning out, you're just keeping the club above water financially, and membership and sponsorships are constant challenges. If this sounds like your club, we'd love to help. Click below to book an obligation-free chat with the CLUBMAP team to discuss your club's situation and how to build a roadmap to a healthier future, along with help to identify a grant to pay for our support. We want to see people enjoying their clubs. |
