Dear Resident or Family Member,

COVID -19 Update (No 9) for Residents and Families at Calvary The Brelsford

I am pleased to inform you that no additional positive COVID-19 cases have been identified across the residents at Calvary The Brelsford since our last update.

As such, and in line with Public Health Unit advice, residents in our Sapphire, Emerald and Pearl Units are no longer isolated to their rooms and may now move freely within their environment. Our two (2) COVID positive residents in Sapphire will remain, and be cared for in their rooms until the Public Health Unit deems it safe to lift the current restrictions.

We are liaising closely with the Public Health Unit, and will update you as soon as we have any further information. Our staff are in contact with the families of the COVID positive residents and are keeping them informed.

We anticipate our next update to Calvary Brelsford residents and families will be early next week, unless there are changes or updates that need to be communicated before then.

In the meantime, Calvary The Brelsford remains closed to all visitors.

Visitor exceptions may be made for end of life visits. Please speak to your home manager in relation to visitation.
