Check Your Timetable

If you have enrolled in fall 2026 or winter 2027 classes, it’s a good time to check your timetable through Carleton360.

While Carleton strives to minimize alterations to class schedules, it is possible that there have been changes between registration and the first week of classes.

Mental Health and Wellness Resources

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed or just need a little extra support, there is always help available to you. The Wellness Services Navigator will match you with a curated list of confidential resources on campus and in the community catered to your specific wellness needs. The Mental Health and Wellness website is another great place to start, with resources for mental health, substance use health, spirituality and more.

Carleton’s Health and Counselling Services offers counselling appointments, including appointments with specialized counsellors and group counselling.

CUSA Health and Dental Plan Auto-Enrolment Changes for Fall 2026

This fall, all undergraduate students taking 1.5 credits or more will be automatically enrolled in the CUSA Health and Dental Plan. The change lowers the eligibility threshold from 2.0 credits to 1.5 credits, aligning it with other student fees. Students taking fewer than 1.5 credits are eligible and may self-enrol during the change-of-coverage period from Wed. Sept. 9 to Fri. Oct. 2, 2026. If you are covered by an equivalent health and/or dental plan (such as a parent or spouse’s benefit plan), you may opt out during the change-of-coverage period and receive a credit to your student account.

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

If you have applied for Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) funding for the fall term and have questions about disbursement, course load or academic progress requirements, visit the Current Students website to learn more.

Financial Aid – Bursaries

If you’re taking fall courses and receiving government financial aid (such as the Ontario Student Assistance Program), you may also be eligible for an undergraduate bursary administered by the Awards and Financial Aid Office.

Carleton University bus stop on Campus Ave. and an OC Transpo bus on the street.

Campus Ave. Construction & Bus Stop Impacts

Campus Avenue is reduced to a single lane between Rideau House and the Nicol Building through the next few months due to a watermain replacement. Drivers and pedestrians can travel south on Campus Ave. but may experience delays. Please obey all flag people and updated signage.

OC Transpo stops on Campus Ave. are temporarily relocated for approximately three weeks and will be reinstated before Residence move-in and Fall Orientation:

  • For service on routes 10 Hurdman, 48 Hurdman and 111 Baseline, use the temporary stop on University Dr. southbound across from Athletics.
  • For service on route 7 St-Laurent, use the stop on University Dr. northbound near Athletics.
  • Route 7, 48 and 111 Carleton will terminate at the temporary stop on University Dr. southbound across from Athletics.

Project updates and completion dates will be shared on the Facilities Management and Planning website.

Rideau River Pedestrian Bridge Temporary Closure

The Rideau River Pedestrian Bridge and sections of the pedestrian pathways on Carleton's campus near the bridge are closed through Mon. Aug. 17, 2026 as the City of Ottawa performs necessary work. Please respect all traffic, pedestrian signs and barricades.
