Sunday 8 August – Saturday 14 August

There are no planned closures this upcoming week.

Upcoming Closures (subject to change)

Sunday 15 August and Tuesday 17 August

• Partial closure of Great South Road eastbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road, but will experience a lane layout change.
• Full closure of all southbound lanes between Takanini and Papakura from 10pm to 5am. This includes closure of the Takanini southbound on-ramp between 9pm and 5am. (Note this closure not part of the SCI project works.)
• Full closure of the Takanini northbound and Hill Road northbound on-ramps between 9pm and 5am

Monday 16 August

• Partial closure of Great South Road westbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road, but will experience a lane layout change.
• Full closure of all southbound lanes between Takanini and Papakura from 10pm to 5am. This includes closure of the Takanini southbound on-ramp between 9pm and 5am.  (Note this closure not part of the SCI project works.)
• Full closure of the Takanini northbound and Hill Road northbound on-ramps between 9pm and 5am

Wednesday 18 August

• Full closure of all southbound lanes between Manukau and Takanini from 10pm to 5am. This includes the closure of southbound on-ramps at Redoubt Road, Lambie Drive and SH20-1 Link, and the off-ramps at Hill Road and Takanini, between 9pm and 5am.
• Full closure of all northbound lanes between Papakura and Takanini from 10pm to 5am. This includes closure of both on-ramps at Beach Road and Beach Road Loop between 9pm and 5am. (Note this closure not part of the SCI project works.)
• Partial closure of Great South Road westbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road, but will experience a lane layout change.

Thursday 19 August

• Full closure of all southbound lanes between Manukau and Takanini from 10pm to 5am. This includes the closure of southbound on-ramps at Redoubt Road, Lambie Drive and SH20-1 Link, and the off-ramps at Hill Road and Takanini, between 9pm and 5am.

Looking Ahead

Weather permitting, night time closures will continue intermittently in August, affecting sections of both northbound and southbound lanes of the Southern Motorway between Manukau and Papakura.
