Early exit to SH1 Upper Harbour Highway

Drivers can get ready for an earlier exit to Constellation Drive with a new
off-ramp layout in place from Monday
7 December.

The Upper Harbour Highway/ Constellation Drive southbound off-ramp will start much earlier on the motorway. Motorists will need to ensure they get into the left lane early enough to exit. They should take extra care and slow down as there are bends in the ramp towards Constellation Drive.

There is a 50km speed limit in place on the ramp. The temporary layout will be in place until mid 2021.

Get ready for changes at SH18 Paul Matthews Road

North Shore drivers are advised to get ready for a big change to how they travel to Rosedale when the new Paul Matthews Road opens next weekend. The new road will shift to join the SH18 Caribbean Drive intersection overnight on Friday 11 December.

People are advised to plan their journeys as delays are expected during this busy time of the year. It is a significant change to how people move around the area, so they need to be patient while everyone adjusts.

The biggest change is that people must turn right much earlier on SH18 westbound to access Paul Matthews Road and into the Rosedale industrial area. The old intersection and right turn off the state highway will close permanently.
