Click here Calvary NoosaDate: 28 January 2022 Dear Resident and Family Members,Following our last update to residents and families, I am writing to advise that the latest round of testing has identified an additional one (1) resident and four (4) staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number in the current outbreak to twenty (20) including five (5) residents and fifteen (15) staff. The additional staff members who tested positive were identified via our RAT test screening procedures, and did not enter the home. Our testing regime continues today across all residents, and we will update you with any information, including results, as soon as they are available. With Roberts unit residents now de-isolated, please see below for updated information regarding visitations and residents movement about their unit. Updated Unit Information for Residents and Families
Our staff are in contact with the families of the COVID positive residents and are keeping them informed. Calvary will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. We understand that it is very difficult for residents to be cared for in their rooms and not have visitors. Please be assured that our team will continue to ensure the holistic care needs of all residents are met and calls and video conferencing is available for loved ones to remain in contact. Visitation exceptions may be made for residents receiving end of life care, or who may be experiencing distress, or where a special care and support role is provided. Please speak with the Manager of your Home to discuss arrangements. A reminder: Guidelines and information for visitors
