Study NSW news and events World-first homestay standards win global awardsStudy NSW and NEAS have received the 2024 International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) Excellence Award for Best Practice for innovative work on the world’s first homestay standards. In partnership with NEAS Australia and homestay service providers, we supported industry-led quality standards that address gaps in sector-wide guidelines with the education sector, government agencies, industry associations and legal experts. In September 2024, this initiative also received recognition at the prestigious PIEoneer Awards. 2024 NSW International Education Awards on this weekNSW’s most inspiring international students, and leading education providers and organisations, have been announced as finalists for the 2024 NSW International Education Awards. Now in its 11th year, the awards recognise the success and contributions of international students across NSW and celebrate organisations for their outstanding support for international education. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 6 November in Sydney. Australian Government resources Information to navigate National Planning Levels The Australian Government is setting limits on the number of international students that can be enrolled by international education providers to improve the sustainability of international education.
