Diwali Celebration: Bollywood Dance Class

Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, Shine this October at the library and learn some steps in classical Indian and Bollywood dance styles led by a professional dancer from Nupur Dance Academy. No previous dance experience required. The class caters to everyone at all fitness levels.

It's starting to feel like summer, and nothing was more iconic after a trip to Bondi Beach than an ice cream from Guido's. In 1961 The Pellicciari brothers hired a corner of a cafe in Bondi Pavilion and sold their ice cream cones from the cafe's window. The business thrived, and finally the brothers took over the cafe and renamed it Guido's Famous Gelato. During summer they sold up to 10,000 cones a day!
Inala - Synth Social Exhibition
Synth social brings together works from our artists with disabilities made before and during the pandemic. Throughout this period our artists persevered in small creative bubbles, using colour and energetic forms to bring light in dark times. Our creative community are guided by their art educators to explore their own artistic journeys through the application of different traditional media, including acrylic, clay, pencil, pen, marker, pastel. The artists also use a mixture of non-traditional and recycled materials, encouraging sustainable practice.
