Learn more from guest speaker, Sam Pritchard (Ernst & Young) and expert panelists at the FREE Earning Digital Trust: AI and Cyber Security event, hosted in partnership with Federation University on Wednesday 20 May. FREE BUSINESS MENTORING The Victorian Government is offering free mentoring for small business owners across key growth sectors (advanced manufacturing and defence, health and medical tech, circular economy, digital tech, agribusiness and regional tourism), with up to three one‑hour sessions with an experienced mentor. Registrations are open until 31 May 2026. STATE 2026/27 BUDGETThe Victorian Budget 2026/27 has been announced, with funding that makes it faster, and easier to do business in our state - and our city. Among other priorities, it includes $48 million to back business, create jobs and invest in Victorian industry. SHAPE YOUR CITY'S FUTURE Council’s draft Budget and Annual Action Plan for 2026/27 set out how Council plans to deliver on what matters most to our community over the next year. HEALTH AND EDUCATION FORUMCouncil and Chisholm Institute recently brought together leaders from across government, education and healthcare to address workforce challenges across the local health sector. SE MELB PRIORITIES Ahead of the Budget 2026/27, GSEM (Greater South East Melbourne) sought four practical initiatives that help people get where they need to go, grow local jobs and lend a hand to those struggling. BUNJIL PLACE FUNCTIONSThe Bunjil Place Function Centre offers a flexible, modern space for private functions and corporate events. Speak with the experienced team to see how you can create an event that leaves your guests impressed and inspired. COMEDY WORKSHOPS Bunjil Place is offering local women of colour an eight‑week stand‑up comedy program with expert training and a live showcase to support their confidence, creativity and skills. Weekly sessions start from Thursday 16 July. DESIGNING BETTER SERVICESApply human-centered design and design thinking principles to create better services at the upcoming Design Better Services workshop at Bunjil Place on Thursday 14 May.
