State Highway 22 northbound reopens

We’re pleased to share that the northbound lane of the Glenbrook Roundabout is now open, meaning that you can once again travel in both directions along State Highway 22.

We’re excited to see you again and hope that you enjoy using the new roundabout.

The Caltex Station and Animal Stuff store are open for business and look forward to welcoming you back.

Glenbrook Road will remain closed until the end of March, while we finish safety improvements in this area.

Detours for people travelling to Waiuku will continue to be clearly signposted. People travelling to Waiuku are encouraged to use the alternate route along Linwood Road. Please note that Heavy Haulage will continue to use Linwood Road until Glenbrook Road re-opens.

Temporary speed limits are in place on the new roundabout and detour route.

We’d like to remind the Franklin community to please continue driving safely to these speed limits, during this last stretch of work.

Thank you for your ongoing patience whilst we complete these important safety improvements.
