Shop green at IndigiScapes Eco Markets

Will we see you at the IndigiScapes Eco Market, 8am–12noon on Saturday 6 April? 

Our Eco Markets are a treasure trove of handcrafted and sustainable goods and entertainment. Each stall holder and activity tells a story of our local community's dedication to preserving the environment.

Check out what's on at the upcoming markets!

Eco Markets highlights:

  • Unique stalls: Wander through the Native Botanic Gardens looking through beautiful, handcrafted goods and sustainable products.

  • Tasty treats: Pick up a coffee or lunch from the IndigiCafe or sample flavours from the many different stalls and food vans. Don't forget your reusable mug and drink bottle!

  • Recycled bargains: Embrace sustainable fashion and dive into the suitcase rummage and rack sale for delightful secondhand finds. 

  • Family yoga: Join us for a relaxing family yoga session in the serene Native Botanic Gardens. Register for this activity below. 

  • Nature craft: Learn about native wildlife egg layers and then join our weed weaving circle with Wanda to learn how to weave a simple nest.

  • Little Wattlebird Band: Let the melodies of Little Wattlebird Band bring you joy as you watch the show on our outdoor stage!

  • Native Nursery: Visit the nursery on your way out and grab something lovely for your garden that will support biodiversity and wildlife conservation.

Individual Property Fire Management Workshop

Saturday 16 March | 9am to 12pm | IndigiScapes, Capalaba

Learn how to balance fire safety with conservation ecology!

Representatives from Redland City Council, Queensland Fire & Emergency Services and Queensland Fire and Biodiversity Consortium will show you how to prepare for fire season and balance fire safety with conservation of native flora and fauna.

Community Grants - applications open

Redland City Council's Community Grants Program provides funding to support local community organisations and individuals to undertake projects for the benefit of Redlands Coast.

  • Conservation Grants (Conservation and Wildlife Carer support) – funding up to $10,000
  • Organisation Support – funding up to $5,000 
  • Project Support – funding up to $10,000

Submissions for Round 2, 2023–2024 will be accepted online until 17 March 2024.

New opening hours

Starting Monday 18 March, IndigiScapes Cafe, Discovery Centre, the Native Botanic Gardens and playground will have new opening hours.

Visit us from 8am to 3pm, every day of the week.

Our Native Nursery opening hours will not change.
