Waitematā Harbour Connections |
30 March 2023 |
Waitematā Harbour Connections feedback open nowTaking all the feedback we received last year into account, we have been working over the past six months to consider future connections across Te Waitematā (the harbour) and how we connect to residential and business hubs in growing urban areas on the North Shore. That feedback has helped us develop several scenarios for crossing Te Waitematā and improving rapid transit on the North Shore. Our survey asking for feedback on these scenarios is now open. Watch the video to find out more. |

Whakahoki kōrero - have your sayEach scenario has different combinations of options, including how the existing harbour bridge is used, how different modes use new bridges or tunnels, and how bridges and tunnels could work together. Every scenario will provide facilities for all modes of travel including walking, cycling, light rail, bus, goods and services vehicles, freight and general traffic. This is imperative to ensuring that everyone has better accessibility and more resilient travel choice across the wider transport network. We now need your feedback.
