Save the pumpkins 🎃This Saturday 2nd November, LUSU Green are heading to Green Lands farm village in collaboration with ‘Share The Harvest’ to rescue some pumpkins leftover from the patch. Interested? Book a ticket to come along for a day of pumpkin fun! Cook some pumpkins 🧑🍳Then on Tuesday 5th November we’ll be making those pumpkins into a cosy soup for the community food hub EggCup (on Tuesday Evening). This is a great opportunity to not only have some fun, but also reduce waste and have a positive impact on society! Plus, transport to Lancaster & Morecambe college where we’ll be cooking is free! Together we can 🤝Together, we can create an amazing forest school area, allotment, and green house, so that primary school kids can experience the magic of outdoor education and permaculture. On Thursday 7th November, join LUSU Green and the UNICEF Society as we head to St. Patricks School, Heysham – with free transport and brews. You can even borrow some wellies from us if needed! Sports, sports, and more sports! ⚽️Sport results are officially in for Week 3 with another strong week in both University and College sport that is sure to give our competitors a fright! Supper Club 🥗Supper Club is back this term, in collaboration with the university – Supper Club offers you a free hot meal to get you through. It takes place every Thursday night of term in Marketplace – but places are limited and pre-registration is essential. Grab your Supper Club entry card from the LUSU reception desk any time during office hours (10am-5pm), then head down to Marketplace between 5-7pm on Thursday.
