Recent Compleated Project_
Sykes Timber HQ
The office has been transformed with high quality timber cladding, reflecting the heritage of the site. We utilised a unique marriage of services where we’ve retained the existing biomass boiler (powered by wood offcuts) and integrated a new high-efficiency cooling unit for the exhibition space to manage increased occupancy. With new and improved services throughout to future-proof the facility.

ORC AGM_
A day out for the ORC team
In August, the ORC team stepped away from the office with a visit to the Garden Museum before our Annual General Meeting.
As well as being a chance to get out of the office and catch up as a team, the day gave us an opportunity to reflect on the past year, discuss business trends and share ideas for the year ahead.

Our AGM provided a valuable space to look at where ORC is heading and explore how we can continue to develop and expand our multi-disciplinary services, while building on the expertise and experience across the team.
A productive day of reflection, discussion and looking ahead, with a little time to enjoy being together outside the office too.

Practical Completion_
Kew College Prep
We’re really pleased to have supported the team at Kew College Prep on this exciting new development, providing building services and acoustic engineering.
The new kitchen, dining and assembly facilities have been carefully designed to make the most of a constrained site within a residential conservation area, while creating a welcoming, sociable space for pupils.
It’s been wonderful to see the thoughtful design come together, from the acoustic ceilings and assisted natural ventilation to the carefully integrated roof plant and rain garden.
Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to completion, and we look forward to seeing the new facilities in use.

News
Brentwood School Campus in Essex has been shortlisted for the Brick Development Association (BDA)'s 2026 Legacy Award.
St Mary’s & St John’s reach practical completion. We’re pleased to have reached practical completion on two projects for the Church of England, St Mary’s and St John’s. It’s great to see both projects come together and move into their next phase.
Phase 1 of Leach Pottery is approaching practical completion. We’re really excited to see the project come together and look forward to seeing the completed spaces in use.
Our sustainability team have been developing strategies for a number of high-end residential properties across London, helping projects respond to the requirements of the London Plan while supporting our clients’ wider sustainability ambitions.

Celebrating 10 Years with OR Consulting
September marks 10 years since Baba Kakkar joined OR Consulting. Now an Associate, Baba leads one of our multidisciplinary M&E teams in London, bringing a wealth of experience across education, residential, commercial, sports and leisure, heritage and cultural projects.
His approach reflects what we strive for at OR Consulting, delivering beautifully designed, affordable buildings that balance low-carbon solutions with intelligent, efficient and elegant operation.
