POLICY IN PRACTICE
Award Winner Motorvations exemplify CSJ approach to educational failure.
One charity won a special prize at this year's CSJ Awards. Motorvations received a mentoring sponsorship from the Bright Ideas Trust, allowing a young entrepreneur to succeed with a business idea.
Motorvations gets hard to reach young people, previously lost in the education system. They fire up enthusiasm for learning new skills by getting hands on in a motor workshop.
Last year the charity helped 8/10 young people get a qualification who wouldn't have otherwise. Motorvations demonstrates how the voluntary sector can plug the gap where the school system fails. More on Educational Failure.
