Organised by Hydrogen Europe Research, HYDROGENi, SINTEF, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), this third edition of the European PHD Hydrogen Conference will take place in Trondheim from 1 to 3 June 2026, and it will be linked to the H₂science Conference, creating a unique opportunity to connect, exchange, and collaborate.

Two conferences. One goal. Endless possibilities.

Once again, the conference will be a vibrant platform for PhD researchers to present cutting-edge work, share insights, and engage in stimulating discussions with fellow experts from all over Europe.

Alongside the inspiring thematic PhD sessions, there will be ample opportunities to network with participants during lunches, coffee breaks and social events.

Here are the submission criteria:

📝 Maximum length of the abstract: 3 pages

📄 Format: Submit in .pdf via: https://ephyc2026.sciencesconf.org/

📅 Deadline: 9 January 2026 at 23:59 CET

Important: each submission must be accompanied by a Supervisor Approval Form, confirming that the author is an active PhD student and has permission to present at EPHyC 2026.
