Northbrook Police Begins Fourth of July Traffic Safety Campaign
As summer celebrations approach, the Northbrook Police Department is stepping up traffic enforcement to help keep our roads safe. A special campaign targeting impaired driving and speeding will run June 20 through July 7, covering the busy Independence Day holiday period. Additional enforcement focused on speeding will continue through August 1. In coordination with the Illinois State Police and more than 200 agencies statewide, officers will be out in greater numbers, watching for drivers under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or other impairing substances, and ensuring that speed limits are followed.
FARMERS MARKET OPENING DAY
The Northbrook Farmers Market's 17th Season has officially opened! Yesterday, members of the Village Board, local elected officials, the Chamber of Commerce and the Northbrook community celebrated the opening day with a ribbon cutting. Stop by the corner of Cherry Lane and Meadow Road on Wednesdays from 7am-1pm to grab goods from the amazing vendors.
Northbrook Park District’s Tuesdays in the Park Summer Concert Series
Starting Tuesday, June 24
Enjoy seven weeks of free music in Village Green Park in downtown Northbrook! Get dinner from a local restaurant or bring your own picnic to enjoy live music in a beautiful setting. In inclement weather, concerts may be moved to the Leisure Center at 3323 Walters Avenue. All concerts are free.

Bring your old and unused electronics to be recycled. Residents are responsible for removing items from their vehicles. Do not leave items at the Village’s facility outside of the recycling events. 1st Tuesday of the month, 7am-3pm & 1st Saturday of the month, 9am-noon.
Paint Northbrook Plein Air 2025
Artist Registration Now Open!
Capture the beauty of Northbrook during this week-long outdoor painting event, August 8–16. The experience wraps up with an art show and sale at Party on the Green on August 16 at Village Green Park. - Open to plein air artists of all levels.
