Monday Edition
Why, hello there, members! Welcome to the start of yet another week here at the Seniors Discount Club, as always, we are over the moon to have you joining us today. As most of you know, we like to kick-start our week with a riddle just to get a bit of a brain workout on a Monday morning! Today’s riddle is a little bit challenging, but I think most of you will be able to get it…
I have a neck, but no head, two arms, but no hands. What am I?
Ooooh, what do you think? I really struggled to figure this one out, but once I got it, it felt like the answer was quite obvious… If you think you know the answer to this riddle, post it on our forum here. If you get the answer correct, then you’ll score yourself a shout-out in tomorrow morning’s newsletter! Not too bad for you Riddle Masters. 😉
Now, what’s happening across the world and around Australia today?
-
A mortified Woolworths shopper has found an 'appalling' and unwanted addition in her home delivery. But how did it get there?
-

Did you know that in the majority of Australian states it’s illegal to run a yellow light? Yes, you read that correctly. Running a yellow light could land you with a fine of up to $587 AND a loss of demerit points.
-
Finally, Australia Post has responded to reports of a postie allegedly dumping ‘close to 300 pieces of residents’ mail’ in a service station bin.
