SKylight Holiday ClubThrough our holiday club, we hosted two weeks of crafting, cooking, climbing and canoeing! Following skiing and snowboarding lessons, we provided places for 49 vulnerable young people. During this time they built bug hotels using foraged materials, made abstract prints using the sunlight, crafted photo frames using power tools, paddled along the Mersey and most importantly, made friends whilst gaining new experiences.

Twelve members of The Cultures Together Group recently ventured out for a day trip on the New Horizons canal boat in Marple. They sang Iranian songs, ate biscuits, and drank tea as the boat cruised down the canal. Mary from the group, expressed to us how friendly all the locals were and commented on how many people waved to them as they were passing. The Cultures Together group meets every Wednesday, 1-3pm at Queens Gardens in Cheadle, where residents get the chance to celebrate cultural diversity, improve access to services, and reduce social isolation. Manchester Pride
We recently joined HouseProud to march in the Manchester Pride parade. It was an amazing opportunity to stand together with housing organisations from across the region, showing our commitment to inclusion and creating a welcoming environment for everyone. The streets of Manchester were filled with colour, music and energy, and the atmosphere was incredible as thousands of people lined the parade route to cheer us on. A big thank you to everyone who joined us or supported from the sidelines!
