Improvements Coming to Sager Creek Addition Streets Work is underway to rebuild the streets in the Sager Creek Addition, including Mockingbird, Meadowlark, Whippoorwill, and Hummingbird. In February, crews began drilling to determine the necessary excavation depth. Street demolition and reconstruction will begin the first week of March, starting on Mockingbird Lane and moving south to north (from Sager Creek Drive to Cheri Whitlock Drive). The project includes replacing the existing concrete pavement with asphalt and adding sidewalks along the outer portion of each loop. All work will stay within the existing right-of-way, and access to properties will be maintained throughout construction. The contractor will attempt to contact property owners before work begins in front of their residence or driveway entrance. Please use caution when driving or walking near active construction zones and be mindful of crews working in the area.

Siloam Springs Honored at the Arkansas State Capitol Siloam Springs was recognized at the Arkansas State Capitol on February 3 as the House of Representatives and Senate approved a resolution honoring the city for its achievements. The resolution highlighted multiple awards, including Floodplain Community of the Year, Volunteer Community of the Year, and the Most Innovative City Award for the Love Siloam initiative. Local organizations were also acknowledged for their contributions. A group of 31 city officials, community leaders, and staff traveled to Little Rock for the event, where they received congratulations from Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and toured the historic Capitol. The resolution, presented by Representative Randy Torres and Senator Tyler Dees, passed unanimously, celebrating the strong sense of community in Siloam Springs.
