New Bills about Healthcare Workplace ViolenceThe Texas Legislature recently passed three laws to crack down on healthcare workplace violence.

We look forward to seeing your updated presentations! Rainbow Room Shoe Drive![]() HMSL is once again supporting Fort Bend Rainbow Room for a back-to-school shoe drive. This organization supports abused and neglected children in crisis by offering them access to commonly needed items like school supplies, clothes and toiletries, among others. In this back-to-school season, they are in need of shoes for school children ages 5 to 18. Last year HMSL collected 50 pairs of shoes. We need your help to beat that with 75 pairs this year. The drive starts today and runs through Wednesday, August 2. A drop off bin will be outside of the Main Pavilion Starbucks. Click here for a helpful flyer. ![]() Incoming Administrative FellowKimberly Jimenez, MPH, a 2022–2023 Houston Methodist Administrative Fellow, is one of three administrative fellows who will join us at our hospital this year. Kimberly will spend time at the three south region hospitals – Baytown, Clear Lake and Sugar Land – in July and August. This mini regional rotation will offer her exposure to our regional strategies and operations, along with the opportunity to get involved in projects across our three hospitals.
