Emirates Deepens Commitment to US Aerospace Manufacturing with $38 Billion Boeing Order
Emirates Airline has strengthened its long-standing partnership with Boeing by ordering 65 additional Boeing 777-9 aircraft, powered by GE Aerospace engines, in a $38 billion deal announced today at the Dubai Airshow 2025.
Emirates operates the largest 777 fleet in the world and now has a total order book of 280 additional aircraft – directly supporting thousands of American manufacturing jobs.
Commenting on the announcement, Ambassador Al Otaiba said, “This landmark Emirates-Boeing deal is a testament to the enduring US-UAE economic partnership. Emirates’ investment underscores our shared dedication to innovation, job creation, and global connectivity.”

On the sidelines of ADIPEC 2025, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed hosted US Secretary of the Interior and Chair of the US National Energy Dominance Council Doug Burgum for the signing of a landmark MoU between the UAE and US. Signed by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Secretary Burgum, the agreement expands collaboration across advanced industrial capabilities, smart manufacturing, energy efficiency and AI.
The agreement builds upon decades of trusted UAE-US collaboration and will accelerate the development of advanced manufacturing and innovative energy systems that power AI at scale.
