NEWS UPDATE08 November 2024 Publishers noteCongratulations to the four new inductees into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame (ASHoF), announced last week. The ASHoF, the highest honor a sailor can receive in Australia, was established in 2017 to recognise the greats of the sport—those who have achieved at the highest level and contributed to shaping sailing as it is today, including those in supporting roles such as coaches and designers. The 2024 Australian Sailing Hall of Fame inductees are Matt Wearn OAM, James Spithill, Jessica Crisp, and Lindsay Cunningham AM. The awards night didn’t stop there, with 17 additional awards presented, ranging from Male and Female Sailor of the Year to Sustainability Awards.
