Know Before You Go: 4th of July at Ray Neri Park

The Lealman Independence Day Fireworks Celebration is almost here, and the community is ready to celebrate America's 250th birthday together. Here is what to know before heading out.

Parking

Parking will be available only at Lealman Exchange, located at 5175 45th St. N., and at the Duval Park Blvd. park entrance. The 46th Avenue park entrances and parking lots will be closed during the event for everyone's safety, and there will be no pedestrian access from that side of the park.

Free While Supplies Last

Hamburgers, hot dogs, water and popcorn will be available for free while supplies last. Kids can enjoy field games and prizes, and every child will receive a toy.

What to Bring

Guests should bring lawn chairs and blankets to relax and enjoy the fireworks show once the sun goes down.

Beverages

Outside beverages are not permitted at the event. Beer and hard seltzers will be available for purchase for $5 each, and a valid ID is required.

Important Reminder

Personal fireworks are not permitted at the celebration. Anyone using personal fireworks will be escorted from the event by the on-site Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Organizers ask everyone to help keep the celebration safe and enjoyable for all attendees.

The event is free thanks to the community's partners, volunteers and sponsors. Follow the Lealman Engagement Committee for updates on this event and other free, family-friendly community events throughout the year.

Pinellas County is Under a Phase III Water Shortage
Order through October 1, 2026

  • Watering hours are reduced to 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. or 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
  • Properties less than one acre in size may only use one of these windows.
  • To protect the remaining water supply, Pinellas County Utilities is required to issue $193 citations for any violation of the watering restrictions.
  • HOAs or similar entities cannot enforce deed restrictions or other community standards requiring an increase in water use, including replacement of plant material to meet aesthetic standards or pressure washing.
  • Home car washing is only allowed on your lawn watering day and you must use a hose with a shutoff nozzle.
  • Ornamental fountains are limited to four hours a day. The regular hours of operation can be selected by the owner but must be posted.
  • Restaurants are required to only serve water upon request.

Conserving water is more important than ever.  Learn more at this link

Report a Problem in Your Community

Residents can report issues such as air quality concerns, potholes, damaged sidewalks, illegal dumping, mistimed traffic signals and graffiti directly to Pinellas County online or through a mobile app.

Reports can be submitted through Pinellas See-Click-Fix or the free mobile app, available for iPhone and Android.

To report a problem, residents can snap a photo or submit a written description. County staff will review the report and work to address the issue. Some problems may fall outside the county's jurisdiction. For example, the Florida Department of Transportation handles issues on state roads, and reports outside the county's authority will be forwarded to the appropriate agency. Residents can also track status updates of their reported issue.

The mobile app requires an email address, though residents can choose to keep their name and email excluded from public view. Under Florida law, email addresses submitted to the county are considered public record. Residents who do not want their email address released in response to a public records request should contact the appropriate county office by phone or in writing instead of by email.

Code complaints cannot be submitted anonymously. Under Florida law, county code inspectors generally cannot investigate anonymous complaints, and a complainant must provide a name and address before an investigation can begin.

Residents who believe a business violation poses an imminent threat to public health, safety or welfare, or could result in the imminent destruction of habitat or sensitive resources, should call the county at (727) 464-6200.
