Wednesday Edition
Well, hello there, members, and welcome to another fantastic Wednesday! How are you all doing this morning? I was supposed to go for a walk, but I slept in a little too late, so I missed my chance. Oh well, there is always tomorrow! For now, I am staying inside with a cuppa in hand and catching up on the news of the day. We hope you are doing the same!
Anyway, enough about me. What have we got lined up for you today, you may ask? Only the juiciest bits of news, the funniest jokes and of course, this week’s supermarket deals, so make yourselves comfortable and let's get started.
First up, we have this week's deals from Coles, Woolworths, ALDI, and IGA. There are some great offers in there, so make sure to check them out!
Next, of course, we have your second riddle of the week! This one is courtesy of member Dennis R. It’s tricky, so get those thinking caps on! Here it goes:
First, think of a person who lives in disguise, deals in secrets, and tells nothing but lies. Next, tell me what’s the last thing to mend, the middle of the middle and the end of the end. Finally, give me the sound often heard during the search for a hard word to find. Now, string them together and answer me this, which creature would you be unwilling to kiss?
Oooh, we like this one! It’s sort of a poem and a riddle all rolled into one, so take your time and read it a few times. If you think you know the answer, head on over to our riddle masters thread here and submit it. If you get the answer correct, you’ll get a shoutout in tomorrow’s newsletter!
