Monday Edition
Why hello there, you! Fancy seeing you here bright and early on a Monday morning. 😉 As always, it’s an honour to be here with you this morning, and every other morning. If you are new here, then you might not know, but on Monday we like to kick start the week with a riddle. Today’s riddle is brought to you by the lovely member, Dennis R.
I come in various sizes, which suit male and female riders. I come in a few different colours. I’m a big improvement from older things such as walking sticks and crutches. What am I?
Have a good, long, hard think about this one, members. A lot of you should be able to crack this riddle! If you think you know the answer, post it on our forum here. If you get the answer correct, then you’ll earn yourself a shout-out in tomorrow’s newsletter! Good luck!
One more thing from me before I jump into today’s news! I just wanted to remind those of you who may be struggling with the current cost of living to look into different ways to save money. One of those might be as easy and simple as comparing your health insurance*! If you haven’t compared your health insurance over the past 12 months, it’s likely you’re paying more for the same cover that might be
cheaper with another insurer. So why not compare and save today?*
If you’ve already compared your health insurers and are looking for other ways to help with the current cost of living, we are running a Christmas Giveaway where we are giving away five $100 vouchers at random to our members who have a profile on our forum. If you already have a profile set up on our forum then you’re already in the running! If you don’t, read how to set one up here so you can go into the running too!

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is brought to you by member @Goodbloke. I hope this brings back some fond memories for you all! ‘The casts of The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction and Green Acres (all created and produced by Paul Henning) posing at Thanksgiving dinner in 1968. (In an episode where the Clampetts go to Hooterville for Thanksgiving). I think that's Jethro on the left in the gladiator outfit, good
times.’
Wow! Who here remembers this episode?

Gosh, @Oldino it looks quite cold but the stars are truly remarkable. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible photo with us, I think it really puts life into perspective, don’t you think? We are such small little specs in this huge universe! And it’s on clear nights like this one, that you remember how small we humans are!
