![]() Dear friends and colleagues The AEC is pleased to present our new project funded by the European Commission's Creative Europe programme, Empowering Artists as Makers in Society, for which we are launching today the first call for working group members. We encourage all our member institutions to propose candidates for the various working groups, both among staff members and among students. In this newsletter you will also find information about our advocacy work, the Pop and Jazz Platform recently held in Łódź, the upcoming EPARM meeting in London as well as updates on other important activities within higher music education. AEC is pleased to present ‘Empowering Artists as Makers in Society’, the new project funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission, in support of European networks. AEC is glad to launch its first call for Working Group members addressed to staff members and students of all AEC member institutions wishing to take part in the new CE Network project ‘Empowering Artists as Makers in Society’. The AEC Pop and Jazz Platform meeting 2022 (PJP) took place at the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódź, Poland, from 10 to 13 February 2022 under the title "Roads Less Travelled - Directions, connections and deviations." The next meeting of the EPARM will take place on 7-9 April 2022 at the Royal Academy of Music in London and online. Deadline for registrations is 25 March. MusiQuE is proud to announce the complete programme with the three confirmed speakers for its third webinar. Music students and recent graduates can apply by 25 March to take part in a short course of 4 sessions from creatives and practitioners.
