Good morning
A very good morning to all of you, dear members! I hope your day is off to a lovely start, and if not, do not fret! It’s my (Maddie’s) job to cheer you up a little. And what better way to cheer you all up than with a story? A Christmas story, of course! Member @deni67 shared her Christmas memory with us not too long ago, and it had me in stitches… If you are in need of a good laugh and want to read an unbelievable story then you have to read this, just be warned: the story involves the explosion of a pig (yes, a pig).
Anyhow, there’s not much else I can say because it’s quite difficult to provide any entertainment after reading a story about an exploding pig! But I guess what I would love to know is if you have any unbelievable stories like this? If you do, I’d love for you to share it with us on the forum here. I think it’ll be interesting to read everyone’s different stories and hopefully put a few smiles on those
dials of yours.
Now, what’s happening across Australia and around the world today?

Mystery gifts

When I read this Christmas Memory submitted by member @Little Penguin I knew I HAD to share it in one of our Christmas newsletters. I hope you love it as much as I do. ‘Since 2010, my husband decided that we would get a mystery gift from him. He puts a lot of thought into what he buys, originally it was just me and our girls. The first year we all got Hawaiian shirts as in the photo. It has now grown to son in-laws and grandchildren. We have to wait till all the other presents are open and then he hands them out. We are not allowed to open them until he tells his story about why he bought this…’ Oh members, this is a hilarious memory and such a
great idea! Read the rest of the segment here. If you have a nostalgic memory you’d like to share, post it on our forum here.

In our garden pot
Wow. Isn’t this one of the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen? When member @Ronloby posted this on our forum, I couldn’t look away! It’s just such a stunning photo. I love all the shades of pink in the flower as well as how shiny it is. You have certainly done a great job at keeping this flower happy and healthy member @Ronloby. If you have a photograph you’d like to share with us, post it on our forum
here!
