Please see below for the latest announcements from the Institutional Research and Analytics department at ASEE.
1. 2022 Profiles Survey - Research Expenditures
We just found out this morning that the US News graduate engineering survey has extended their deadline and therefore we are extending our deadline. If you are reporting data to US News for their engineering graduate survey, please submit your spreadsheet with your research expenditure data filled in by January 27, 2023 to ASEE.
You can upload the spreadsheet in the same place as the full data: https://americansocietyforengineeringeducation.shinyapps.io/2022_uploading_app/
You do not need the full submission, only the research expenditure data (along with departmental/ERC tabs that identify the discipline and location).
When you submit the full submission, this overwrites your previous submission of just the research expenditure data.
We exchange numbers with US News to help resolve any inconsistencies to resolve any issues. We will be releasing a list of institutions who underwent this review process.
2. Preview Reports and Profiles 2022 Deadline
There will be preview reports available by the close of business today for data submitted by 5pm Janaury 12, 2023. These reports will be visible in your https://survey.asee.org accounts.
Please note that the deadline for Profiles has been extended to February 15, 2023.
3. ASEE IRA Phone Numbers and Staffing
The ASEE IRA department is moving to email only contact. Any prior phone numbers for our team are no longer monitored and will be disconnected soon. Please email questions to data@asee.org
Due to restructuring and staff turnover at ASEE HQ, there may be a 1-3 business day delay in response to emails. Thank you for your patience.
4. ASEE Salary Survey for 2023
We intend to open the salary survey later this due to operational changes (including moving) at ASEE HQ. We will announce the salary survey details in late January. We will use the same structure and system as last year with no changes and anticipate opening sometime in early February and closing the survey in late April.

Once you register for the account and log in, survey registration is in the My Surveys section. There is a fee. There is an online component that is done in your web browser, as well as a spreadsheet, which is available in Section G of the online survey.
The Profiles Survey is open until February 15, 2023. If you need an extension, please let us know.

This is our primary method of direct communication about the surveys. We also post survey statuses on the front page of the survey site itself.
