Kaya ,

One of WA’s freshest food and wine festivals, Taste Great Southern, has unveiled the exciting program for its 2026 event.

Celebrating the best of the Great Southern region from 4–8 March, the four-day festival shines a spotlight on its fresh produce, passionate local producers, world-class chefs, and stunning locations. It’s a feast for the senses and a true showcase of the region’s rich culinary culture.

Thousands of visitors are expected to flock to the area for this premier culinary event, bringing a welcome boost to the region’s economy. The festival also leads into Lighting the Sound—a spectacular Australian-exclusive landscape illumination event set to wash Albany/Kinjarling in colour and light over three weekends starting 13 March.

As we continue to celebrate the vibrancy and appeal of Western Australia’s experiences, attention now turns to the global stage. Tourism Western Australia’s Market Managers have arrived in Perth/Boorloo, ahead of tomorrow’s Dream Global Tourism Forum.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for operators to hear directly from Tourism WA’s Market Managers about how we’re promoting Western Australia around the world. Attendees will get fresh insights into what’s happening in our key international and domestic markets, discover upcoming campaign activity, explore partnership opportunities, and learn how your business can align with WA’s broader tourism goals.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone there and continuing the conversation on how we can keep showcasing WA’s incredible experiences to the world.

Warm regards,

Tourism WA Executive Management Team.
