If you get the answer correct, you’ll score yourself a shout-out in tomorrow morning’s newsletter. So get those brains into gear, members!

Member @Suzanne rose posted a memory about the old Waltons Store in Sydney. Do you remember it? Was there one in your state? According to @Suzanne rose, ‘Waltons was my grandmother's favourite store. I remember many visits to this store and my grandmother buying furniture on hire purchase and the Waltons man visiting every Friday evening to collect payment and entice her to buy more. On several occasions, he left her with a bunch of store money to use in-store on whatever she wanted. I called this funny money! Was this great customer service or a clever way to collect payment from those who didn't pay and for those good payers to entice them to buy more?’ That is a great question, @Suzanne rose. I think it was a clever marketing tactic to get people to spend more money. 😂 But maybe I am a bit of a cynic? What do you think, members? I’d love to hear from you!

Got Health insurance? Your Premiums Are Going Up Yet Again*
A health insurance rate rise of 2.90% is what Aussies are being slapped with during a cost-of-living crisis. We’ve seen mortgage rates increase, grocery prices spike, petrol prices peak, and now our health insurance premiums will be increasing by an average of 2.90%.
From 1 April 2023, Australians over the age of 65 could be paying up to $167* more per year for their health insurance and that’s just for those of you who are not with one of the ‘Big Five’ health insurers - think BUPA, Medibank, HCF, nib and HBF - if you are with one of the ‘Big Five’ you could be paying up to $194* per year for the exact same cover you currently have.

Morpeth, a beautiful town
A big thank you to member @mark godwin for posting this stunning photograph on our forum. I had no idea where Morpeth was, so I had a look and it’s in the Hunter Region of NSW! Not too far from Sydney, so I think I might check it out myself! There is nothing I love more than a nice, country town. They are just the best place to be if you ask me! A big thanks to member @mark godwin for sharing this photo with us!
