Well its been a big few months and as such we haven't sent an email out since May! So there is a fair bit of stuff to update in this email and lots of interesting products, projects, jobs and news to tell you about.
We also have the footy tipping leaderboard after 22 rounds of the NRL.
We have plenty of exciting projects and jobs running at the moment, but we are always looking for more clients and work. If we can help you with anything, please reach out.
DOLLY CAR OVERHAUL
Earlier this year Solid Engineering were engaged by one of our longtime mining clients to overhaul their dolly car. Together with our trusted sub-contractors we carried out a full overhaul and below you can see some before, during and after photos.

Aimex Mining Expo
Solid Engineering will be exhibiting at the Aimex Mining Expo in Sydney this year for the first time since 2017.
From Tuesday 5th September - Thursday 7th September at Sydney Showground (Homebush) Aimex will feature mining companies and suppliers from Australia and around the world showcasing their products, services and operations.
Drop by the Solid Engineering stand to discuss our latest products and service offerings including AFC & BSL Chain, Mining Equipment Manufacture and Overhaul, Steel Ladders & Safety Steps, Project Design and Engineering and Site Services.

Solid Engineering are proud to announce that we are now officially one of the Australian distributors for Fasing Group.
Fasing Group are a Polish company that manufactures chain, with one of their specialties being the development and manufacture of AFC and BSL mining chain.

Our General Manager Brad Kebblewhite travelled to Poland in June this year to visit the Fasing Group manufacturing facilities and also attend their 110th anniversary celebrations. You can see some pictures of the trip below.
Solid Engineering will be offering the Fasing Group products like AFC & BSL chain, flight bars, connectors and full assemblies to Longwall mines with complete after sales support including parts and service.

Roof Manufacture & Installation
In May this year Solid Engineering were awarded a project by a long term client to manufacture and install a roof over creek on one of their NSW coal mine sites.
Our scope of work included site measure, manufacture drawings, manufacture of structural members, hot dipped galvanizing, supply of purlins and roof sheeting, transport and site installation where we had a team of three tradespeople onsite for just short of two weeks.

We are a locally owned and operated business based in Kurri Kurri primarily servicing the mining, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing and agricultural sectors.
We work a 4 day week lifestyle roster from Monday - Thursday with overtime available on Friday's (and some weekends).
