Season's Greetings from the AEC Team!

Dear colleagues and friends,

It was a great pleasure to meet so many of you again at this year's AEC Congress after more than two years of severe pandemic-related restrictions. Warm thanks to CNSMD Lyon for their generosity and dedication as hosts.

Currently, we are all very concerned about the consequences of the Russian attack, and above all about the impact that this barbaric war is having on the Ukrainian people. AEC is trying to contribute to easing the suffering of those affected through the #AECforUkraine campaign, and we would be very happy if you decided to make a small contribution.

Despite these difficult circumstances, we look with confidence into the new year, which for the AEC will start as always with the Pop & Jazz Platform meeting, this time taking place in Rome.

My colleagues in the AEC Office Team in Brussels and the members of the AEC Council wish you all a peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year!

Stefan Gies, AEC Chief Executive

It is composed of the Lifelong Learning (LLL) Working Group, whose members will map practices and encourage AEC members to improve/develop LLL opportunities for artists, as well as enhance the teachers’ competencies as facilitators and explore the feasibility of turning AEC into a LLL provider, in cooperation with the AEC Office Team.
