Continued Collection of Patient-Reported Outcomes After the End of a Clinical TrialLUNGevity’s Bellinda King-Kallimanis, PhD, Director of Patient-Focused Research, and LUNGevity board member Nichelle Stigger just published a paper on the importance of continuing to ask patients to fill in surveys about how they feel and function after clinical trial treatment ends. In the article, the results of a roundtable conversation that included patients, academics, regulatory agencies, clinicians, and other stakeholders are shared. Together, this group created recommendations to help collect follow-up data from the patient perspective after they have left a clinical trial, or the trial ends. The roundtable participants unanimously agreed there is value in knowing how patients feel and function after treatment ends on a clinical trial, and this information should come from the patients themselves. Did You Miss It?In partnership with UChicago Medicine, the July Learn with LUNGevity webinar brought together internationally recognized experts to talk about the latest in lung cancer treatment and ways to navigate a lung cancer diagnosis.
