Monday Edition
Happy Monday, everyone! Another day and week are upon us, and I hope you are all as excited as I am to tackle this day head-on! I’ll admit, I went back again and looked at the Monday blues thread for some extra motivation, and it was like an espresso shot for my brain! Considering that I’m also downing a nice, hot cup of coffee right now, I feel like I’m ready to take on the world.
Okay, kidding about that last bit! I haven’t been around long enough to say I’m ‘wise’, but I do know that I’d rather not tempt fate, especially in my rare episodes of mental vigour. Think of it as staying grounded, if you get my point 😉, so I’m downsizing that statement: I feel like I’m ready to take on reasonably difficult challenges the world throws my way…
And on the topic of challenges, you might want to join the conversation on how life has changed for you in the three years since the COVID pandemic began! This is a judgement-free space, so don’t be shy and share what’s been better (and otherwise) for you recently.
Now, let’s get back to business because I’m sure you’re all raring for another riddle. Here’s this week’s first offering:
What is faster, and why: hot or cold?
This one is deceptively simple, and I was squeezing my brain for an answer like there was no tomorrow. Will you fare better than I did? We’ll see! Don’t forget to post your answers on the forum here, and if you get it correct, you’ll see your forum username in tomorrow’s newsletter getting shouted-out!
Oh, and in case you missed it, Centrelink payments are increasing starting today! If you missed the news or want to refresh your memory, here's everything you need to know.
