A Massive Welcome to "Mighty Rick's" Gym to the Park
It's our huge pleasure to announce that the new owner and trainer of the gym at Maxim Park is Scottish legend and former world champion Ricky Burns! Ricky Burns
The gym - "Mighty Rick's" - welcomes everyone and will offer a traditional gym, hyrox classes, and more types of full body workout as well as excitements for boxing fans.
Gym is planned to be up and running from last week of September. It will be open 7 days a week. Keep an eye on posts advising on official opening.
Tenants on the park are entitled to a discount please email: enquires@maximpark.co.uk You can save up to £60 a year!

FREE CPD seminars. Building learning community at Maxim
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) talk and workshop, 4th out of four events in Sustainability block, took place at former Regis premises on 12th of October.
The topic was "Empowering you to discover nature" and we learnt about herbs for health, tea blends for common ailments, and easy kitchen remedies for everyday wellness.
Talk and workshop was hosted by Lauren Lochrie from Herbal Homestead.
Hopefully these workshops sounds fantastic to you. There will be regular CPDs in 2024!

GPD WINS National Landscaping Award !!!
Congratulations to GP Plantscape!!!
The Maxim Park management team together with our valued partners at GP Plantscape are delighted to announce that we have won a British Association of Landscape Industries National Landscape Award! For a number of years now we have been working closely with GP Plantscape to ensure that our investment across the park is making a positive impact to create a fantastic environment for our tenants and visitors to enjoy all year round..
Fountains Charity Raffle
Once again The Fountain Hair Studio organizes raffle to support a charitable cause.
Just pop into the salon and purchase a raffle ticket (£1). All proceeds will be going to Hope for Autism.

Scran sessions attract more & more of us!
We had Little Texas BBQ and Sweet Treats serving delicious food. Rain certainty doesn't stop our Scran sessions.
Last Scran Sesion this year is planned for Tuesday 7th November. This time we will welcome you to Thai food and, as per usual, sweet treats from another creative baker.
Maxim Park - a place of personal growth, as well as a place to work
With such a diverse range of job roles being carried out every day at Maxim Park, we can all learn a lot from each other. That’s why we’re proud to bring members of our community together on a regular basis as part of our programme of Continuing Personal Development (CPD) events.
Rather than being an ‘added extra’ for members of our community, we see CPD as a key part of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy to build a 360 degree vision that not only makes best use of the many resources we have across the park, but embraces innovation and is a force for good that, with the help and support of our partners and collaborators, provides all of us with a positive environment in which to work and develop towards a sustainable future.
Allotment & community garden sessions
Allotment sessions are once per month and are open for everyone. Tenants join us for planting, harvesting, and taking care of our wee green kingdom.
We have just had our last session this year where we started to plan 2024. Thank you for all that great work and commitment you put into creating our little green kingdom!
Get involved, pass your experience and tips to further nature enthusiast. We need you! We meet once per month between 11:45 and 13:45. More sessions available on request :) Simply contact Malwina.
Halloween Drive-In Cinema on 26th of October
Drive-In Cinema is Back in 2023!!!!! For Halloween, October 26th and Christmas December 14th.
The votes have been counted and over half of you chose....Addams Family (from 1991). Sign up now to secure your spot.
Maxim's Halloween Competition
Competition for Tenants!!! Wear your best fancy dress costume to work and you could be in with the chance to win an exciting prize. Kids taking part in our drive-in cinema have their competition too! (message in the bottom)
Nominate your colleague or another Tenant spotted at Maxim Park.
Take a picture of her/his/their Halloween costume your are blown away by and email Malwina or Emma (Maxim's Event Management Team) before 12pm on 1st of November. Please include the name, company and contact detail as well.
The prize for the best costume is a voucher for £60 to fine dining restaurant at Glashu.
Celino £20 voucher for the funniest or/and most creative costume nomination prize.
For kids taking part in our drive-in cinema on 26th of October:
The prize for the best costume will be one £40 voucher to a toy store (store to be confirmed yet). Please take a photo of your kid(s) during our drive-in cinema event and email to Malwina or Emma (Events Management Team) emails are linked below before 12pm on 1st of November. We will provide a spooky photo opportunity in Maxim 8.

November Events
Dr Bike- 9th November
Bring your bike to work and get your FREE MOT
Bike Town will check and service minor problems, with more major issues diagnosed and a fault report provided.
Gears will be adjusted, brakes tightened, cables and blocks replaced as required, everything oiled and greased and given a once over.
Bikes can be dropped off from 7:30am
Maintenance Station is located between - Maxim 6/7
Claim your free breakfast token from Piece.
All mechanics are friendly and approachable and have a wealth of cycling knowledge so feel free to pick their brains about cycle training or other cycling activities.
Scran Sessions - Tuesday 7th November
On Tuesday 7th November we have incredible food vendors coming to the park. Tanya Thai Kitchen will be serving delicious curries, spring rolls, crispy chicken and Brew 52 selling yummy cupcakes sweets and treats . You don't want to miss out!.
Christmas Celebrations
Christmas Market -30th November
Christmas Market is returning to Maxim on the 30th November at the Event Plaza outside Maxim 5. There will be up to 28 vendors here to sell some amazing goodies and Christmas treats. We cannot wait !!! Make sure you pop along and get your Christmas gifts early.
