SCHOLARSHIP REMINDERS

 
 

File the 2025-26 FAFSA or WASFA

You are required to file either the FAFSA or WASFA by June 1 to keep your scholarship.

✓ Find out if you should complete a FAFSA or WASFA.

✓ For the FAFSA: Review the documents you need via this link.

Communicate easily with us through your Scholar Portal account

Use the Submit Request and Personal Info tabs to update us.

Are you transferring to another campus? Submit a College of Enrollment Update form in the Scholar Portal at least two weeks before scholarship disbursement dates to receive funding at your new campus.

You can also find all your scholarship details and upcoming career events there!

Renew your scholarship now

You do not need to reapply for the scholarship. Instead, you must complete the Renewal form to continue receiving funding for the 2025-26 academic year (and to request summer funding!).

The deadline to submit the form in the Scholar Portal is May 15.

  • If you’re attending a semester school, you can no longer request summer funding.

Graduating in spring 2025? Submit the Graduation Form in the Scholar Portal instead.

Life Sciences WA is hosting an application workshop on May 1 from 4-5 p.m. with the hiring team! You could work at one of the companies listed below. Register in the Scholar Portal!

  • Altasciences (Everett, WA) is a contract research organization that provides a comprehensive solution to early-stage drug development.  

  • Inventprise (Redmond, WA) investigates vaccines to prevent Group B Streptococcus, Shigella, and Klebsiella.
