Friday Edition
Well good morning members, and welcome to a fantastic Friday morning! We sure do hope it is indeed fantastic, and if it isn’t we are always here for a chat! Remember folks, the days that aren’t so fantastic are what make the fantastic ones go great. Otherwise, we would just have days and that's pretty boring don’t you think?
Now, speaking of boring, here at the SDC, we like to be anything but! So let's get into some of today’s activities, starting off with our riddle of the day. This one was sent in by member David L. and we absolutely love it!
Say my name and I disappear. What am I?
While this one could be applied to a cheeky grandchild who likes to run off, it’s something else we assure you. If you’ve got an eye for riddles (as we know you do), head on over to our riddle masters thread and submit your answer. And if your answer is indeed the correct one, then you can look forward to a shoutout in tomorrow's newsletter! How good is that?!
Now we also have the Coles Best Buys for the week. Dive into these head first folks, there are some absolutely brilliant deals on offer here!

Remember this delicious banana ice cream on a stick? This was definitely one of our favourite treats back in the day. Nestlé Peters discontinued them in 2003, but it was reintroduced in 2009 due to a social media campaign. However, the product's comeback was short-lived, and it was discontinued again in 2012... But social media striked again and demanded its return, and it came back to our freezers in 2017! So long story short, you can get them in packs of eight at IGA and Coles today.

It happens to the best of us. One minute, you’re mixing a sauce, and the next thing you know, your sauce is burnt, and you are left with a burnt pan. Now, we know you're tempted to just throw the pan away rather than spend what feels like an eternity scrubbing it clean again.

Susan from New South Wales has shared a $4 miracle product that she now swears by for restoring her filthy, rusted old saucepans to their shiny silver state. Three health insurance rate rises in the space of 18 months are what Aussies are being slapped with after a two year long global pandemic.
