Media Cube Newsletter April 2022

We are delighted to bring you our second bi-monthly newsletter for 2022!

It has been an exciting couple of months at the Media Cube!  We successfully launched  the Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers Phase 2 programme which is the first year of a 5 year joint partnership with NovaUCD.   Funded by Enterprise Ireland, IADT and NovaUCD have committed €1.6m over the next five years for the New Frontiers programme to support up to 265 entrepreneurs in the greater South Dublin area incorporating Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown and North Wicklow. The event was opened by Jennifer Carroll McNeill T.D., who congratulated the incoming entrepreneurs to the programme. The 6 month  programme  (Phase 2) has now kicked off at IADT.  This newsletter introduces  some of the new participants who are now resident hotdeskers at the Media Cube.

Our events programme is ongoing and over the last two months we had Olivia Leonard, Director of Product Marketing in Facebook, talk to us in the Media Cube about the Metaverse.  Also our very own Matthew Egan, CEO & Founder of Venuesearch, gave a very informative talk on the Secrets of Search Engine Optimisation.   We are continuing the events programme this month with a talk from Patrick Haughey, Founder at Audiobrand, on podcasting.  Patrick will speak about the recent exponential growth of podcasts, what's driving it, and how innovative companies and individuals are using audio to grow their brands and their businesses.

There is a great sense of co-operation at the moment in the Media Cube so thanks to you all for creating and continuing to build such a thriving community.
