Hello from MicroDried. No images? Click here ![]() ![]() A Fresh View of Farm to Fork The concept of Farm to Fork can be defined in numerous ways - such as single-source, clean label, traceability, transparency, etc. - but no matter the definition, addressing consumer concerns about the safety, quality, and origin of the food they eat has become critically important in our industry. This may entail sharing a product’s journey across the entire supply chain including farming practices, harvesting methods, shipping channels, storage facilities, and all food quality standards met along the way. Consumers are highly aware of the significance of knowing where their foods are coming from, and they subsequently want proof of that source. Offering complete Farm-to-Fork transparency helps to provide confidence to food manufacturers and allows food scientists and developers to create new products with fully traceable and accountable ingredients. MicroDried can do just that. For years, we have directly sourced both conventional and organic blueberries and aronia from our own farms in eastern Washington, processing them at our IQF facility in Grandview, Washington. This vertical integration allows us to deliver competitively priced, top-quality, traceable, and safe food products. As we continue to innovate, we are actively exploring additional vertical integration opportunities that will further enhance our offerings soon.
